Overview
Oemami is a meal planning subscription service built for the South African market. The concept is simple: help people cook good food at home without complicated ingredients or overly ambitious recipes.
The goal was to create a brand and digital presence that feels approachable, practical, and modern, while still carrying a slightly rustic, home-cooking feel.

The Approach
From the beginning, the focus was on accessibility. Oemami isn’t about gourmet cooking or hard-to-find ingredients. It’s about everyday meals with a bit of creativity, using ingredients people can easily find at their local shops.
The brand was designed to reflect that philosophy. Clean and modern at its core, with subtle rustic touches that hint at home cooking and comfort food.
A big part of the brand story is showing that the recipes are genuinely easy to make. Instead of overly styled food photography, the visuals lean into a more natural “we made this ourselves” approach. The result feels honest and relatable, showing real end results rather than picture-perfect dishes that feel impossible to recreate.
Once the brand foundation was in place, we designed and developed the website to make exploring recipes and joining the subscription as simple as possible. Alongside the site, we also created supporting content that helps communicate the brand’s friendly and practical tone.

The Result
A cohesive brand and digital platform that introduces Oemami as a fresh, accessible meal planning service for South African home cooks. The brand, website, and content all reinforce the idea that good food doesn’t have to be complicated.
